Smt. Padmavati Rajasekharuni's Opinion
It is my proud
privilege to share my views on ‘Lalitha Sahasra Nama Sarala Vyakhyanam’
written by Smt. Bhattiprolu Vijayalakshmi. I have followed it quite regularly and found it thought provoking and
highly intriguing. I have read such
analyses even earlier, but this one appealed to me the most because I did not
consider it as something religious or divine, but could view it as an analogy of
cosmic super power that controls our actions and reactions.
Mrs. Vijayalakshmi
has, in her Vyakhyanam, made Sree Lalitha matha appear before our eyes, live
and as an all-time ultimate supremacy. In conformation with the Hindu doctrine, ‘Yatra Naryastu
Pujyante, Ramanthe Tatra Devatah’, Lalitha Ammavaru is shown as the
Super Naari and all other deities flourishing in her aura. The author has
written not just enough to understand the meaning of the thousand names but
gone beyond, with allusions, personal experiences and library references to
expand the concept behind the thousand names.
I congratulate Mrs. Vijayalakshmi for having accomplished this mammoth task with single devotion and dedication giving her hundred percent time and thought. I have seen her feel uncomfortable sometimes during that thought process till she pens down what she had been brooding over. She would cut herself away from social chats and limit them only to the essential. Late night scripting, constant references, regular cross checking with elders in the family – this was her life for the past few months. And all this would not have been possible without the constant and unconditional support extended by her husband Mr. Ramesh Kumar. He had been most accommodative and understanding all through. He is the invisible and silent co author for this blog.
Knowing the couple
as regular pilgrims to almost all places of divine interest in India and abroad
even from their young years, I feel that this attempt is the culmination of
their spiritual journey which had started decades ago.
May goddess
Lalitha shower the downpour of her choicest blessings of good health, inner
peace and harmony to them. May Mrs. Vijayalakshmi come up with more such
writings to spread her knowledge to one and all.
Om Shanti. I am blessed to be the author’s sister.
